My grips stay on....that's why I bought Luigi's case 'for M with m-grip fitted'....if you like a grip tha's the way to go, but I don't know if he has that version for a ZI.....

i would bet that many here have much more gear than i.

though i do admit that have doubles on the 50 & 90 is making less and less sense to me.
