Sorry to ask this question, but I dont know of a place that lists side by sides of RF specs.
Somewhat new to range finders, or at least 35mm range finders. I did have one in the 70's that was a P+S and also had a Mamiya 7 for a while, a Fuji gs645, Fuji G690 etc.
I just got my hands on a canonet QL17 and man do I like this camera. Actually I love it. Simple, very sharp, and I am going to keep it as my total investment is a whopping $28, but I need something else with a few more features.
Want Aperture priority AE.
Want that huge metering needle on the side similar to a QL17 as I am sick of green leds.
Want more film range, like iso 8 to 3200 at least.
Want +- EV adjustment.
Want B - 1/4000, so I guess that rules out leaf shutter.
Want easy to load similar to the QL17
Want a Decent viewfinder
Most importantly a super sharp lens in the 35-40mm area.
2nd most importantly I dont want to spend 6G for it. For ultimate rez I would rather use MF or LF film.
I dont really care about a bunch of electronic gadgetry. Also tried the Yashica T5 and while neat, is all automated. I really want all manual except for AE.
I was eyeing the Contax G2 for a while, but now I think I want a more retro camera.
Any hints ??
Thanks
