As I am in the process of selling my Cron 90 [this is not an advertisement], I suddenly realise that it is (was) the only lens for which I have a frame in the M2 viewfinder.
I am left with
- CV Ultron 28
- Rokkor 40
- Lux 75
- Tele-Elmar 135
- a built-in viewfinder, however lovely, that has frames for 35, 50 and 90mm
- a turret finder (classic Soviet Contax clone) with provision for 28, 35, 50, 85 and 135mm, which is neither very well matched physically nor very convenient (rangefinder and viewfinder belong together, especially with the 135!)
So I sort of figure out the 40mm field outside the 50mm frame, and 'guess' whatever should be within the 28mm range... and most of the time it works (unless parallax takes its toll, which also happens with the built-in finder).
Am I the only fool out there with high-precision mechanics and optics, and not the slightest idea of what will be on the film ?
Please help me !
