Am I "Official" Now?

Hi. The CV25 lens is a screw mount lens that requires an M adaptor to mount on a Bessa R2a and other M-mount cameras.

You can buy faster wide angle lenses from Leica and Zeiss, but you'll need to pay at least 5x more (something like that, I don't even know how much they are, jsut that it's too rich for me.)

Excuse my ignorance but why do I need a Leica M mount Adapter? Does'nt the 25mm go directly on the R2A?

Thanks.

I will certainly consider this. But isn'nt f4 too slow? is there any other faster lens availble (CV, Zeiss Ikon, Leica etc) which can be mounted on R2A using an specific aux finder?

I am so new in this so I am sorry if my questions are so basic.

thanks

I agree that f/4 is a bit slow, and it was a concern, but if you take into consider how small and light the lens and camera is, you should be able to hand hold that down to a 15th or so.
I have hand held a Nikon F3 with the MD4 motor drive down to that speed and have one photograph that is tack sharp...
