Amadeo Adapter Mailing Time

I bought one of Amadeos adapters. He shipped on the 23rd of June. How long does it take to get to the US? I guess I'm just really anxious to get the thing. How was everyone elses transit time?
 
My Contax to LTM adapter took exactly 14 days from Venezuela to California. He mails express so it is pretty quick. Most of the time is actually in Venezuela spent in customs. Be patient it will be there by the 8th.

You are right. My adapter just left Venezuelan customs this morning. I hope to have it by the end of the week. I can't wait.
 
Nope, I was wrong. My adapter is still being prepared by Venezuelan customs. I gotta admit. I'm getting annoyed at the wait. I paid on the 17th of June, it was dropped off on the 23rd of June by Amadeo and it's still in Venezuela according to USPS.
Just my gripe for the day.

As I have mentioned prior, all my adapters took 3 weeks to arrive in California. It should be shipped to you very soon.

Yep, I know. It's just when you want something and it takes forever. That's all. But, I doubt I will have it in 2 days. That would be 3 wks.

I had the same anxiety as you do! However, once you have received the well made adapter you will be very happy and all the wait will be worth it. Hang in there, it will be at your doorstep very soon! ;)

I feel like a kid at Christmas. You know a particular gift is under the tree. But, you just have to wait. That was never my strong point........patience.
 
It finally arrived today. I emailed Amadeo and asked him if it was normal for it to sit in customs that long. He said he would check on it at his post office. The next morning it was on its way to Miami. I guess he nudged it along.
It looks really well made. Can't wait to use some film this weekend.
 
I had the same experience basically. Right after I emailed him it seemed to get pushed along. My adapter won't mount my collapsible Sonnars, though. I will NOT send it back to Venezuela. The results with my Nikkor lenses have me hooked and I can't give them up.

Exactly. My Nikkor 50/1.4 is my go to 50 for my M6. One of the nicest adapters I've seen from Amedeo.
