and not looking to sell or buy anything different!!

if this continues i may have to come up with a new sig line ;)

Must be some digital disease I guess. Contageaus too probably? I feel the same way! Or is this a cure for GAS?

Sounds pretty nice, can I borrow it? I might like to get one myself since you like yours so much. Just kidding.

Now what about all of your other cameras NOT getting used?

if i were a hunter would i have to have a rifle that fit into my pocket?

this is a 'need' created by marketing, not my need at all.
i dislike things in my pockets actually and limit them to my keys and wallet.

the g1 with both kit lenses fits, with plenty of room, in my 5xb bag, along with my cell phone and extra battery etc.

Joe,
Here's the thing: there really is a difference between a camera you can literally carry with you all the time and one that requires a bag. (i'm still not sure the DP2 is a carry-everywhere camera.) I used to have one of those little Casio P&S credit card-size cameras. You could literally slip it into your shirt pocket and not notice it was there. By the same token, no one ever knew when I was using it. I could carry it into business meetings and shoot with it and no one knew. A camera that you can do that with is in a class of its own. It's almost a spy camera, and not something created by marketing hype. I guess I've answered my own question. If I want one of those I should buy another. The DP2 is not in that class.

i always have a bag and a camera with me.
granted, the g1 is no spy camera but then i am no spy ;).

i have actually been thinking about putting the gripper strap on one of the rd1 cameras along with the zm 28 lens and throwing it over my shoulder and ditching the bag for the summer.

the grd was fun to have and small enough for a pocket.
