well it is to me at least - look here and maybe you will find this to be a good deal. I didnt - as there are parts missing - can see it on a pic! But it was CLA'd by Certo6! lol

The best part is "I sent the 6x9 back to Mr. Kreckel twice but apparently dud lenses aren't included in the warranty.":D

Cheers!

i saw that ad as well and thought it was hilarious when he said apparently dud lenses arnt included in the warranty from Mr J Kreckle,

i have one of those 6x9's which just has the Radionar lens so initialy i thought that perhaps his standards were just a bit more lofty and he didnt like the quality/results...but then i noticed it had the Xenar, there should be nothing wrong with that so obviously something was not put together properly or something was wrong in the camera, which should of been done properly with CLA.

Krosya, i dont think it is a bad deal per say for the new buyer (at least on one hand), as it has the top lens and c/rapid shutter, which isn't always easy to get, the second camera has the c/rapid shutter as well with flash sync which is handy, dam shame he says the xenar lens is stuffed.

Lately though there have been some going quite cheap, but a good one can often be as much as $400, it however can be expected to be complete! the only way to get the parts that are missing on this is to buy another weltur(hopefully cheap-$130-150ish?) to get the parts of it (he could steal the wondow of the second camera-not a great option). but that becomes like chasing your tail though and i would rather pay more in the first place to get a good one.

basically one could think they got the second camera for nothing but the down side is that the front contrast window, as well as the 6x4.5 veiwfinder mask and a few screws are missing from the 6x6 weltur (anything else? you have to wonder what else is wrong on the inside considering it is missing those parts already! a JK CLA should probably de-vaule a camera!).

also interesting, is that it would seem that JK sold the 6x9 to him and told him it was a 6x9 Weltur! at least thats what his ad says. when in fact it is a Welta Solida-the pre-curser to the Weltur models and first 6x9 Welta with a coupled rangfinder with duel veiwing windows, quite a different camera to the Weltur in many ways although the Weltur was developed from the Solida.

I'd love to have a Superfekta one day! But at those prices I'm afraid to even look at one. Oh well, I'm pretty happy with my two Welturs anyway.

this one i was amazed at, a lovely Superfekta--it reached over $3700US final price..crikey!!

lovely condition but still only has the trioplan lens (which is still a fine lens) instead of the Tessar and had the compur shutter and not the Compur Rapid

Good grief! I would like having one too, but never at that price. I guess I will have to be satisfied with my 6x6. It is a nice picture taker.
