Amedeo 50mm Nikon to Leica M

Question about the adapters. Is there also a Amedeo version that rotates the Leica way? I believe I saw it mentioned somewhere.

The Amedeo Adapters that are dedicated to Internal Mount lenses rotate in the Leica Direction.

Any external mount S-Mount/ Contax RF mount lens would have to be remounted in a new focus mount.

You are completely right. I feel stupid because I have the Amedeo.. should use it more with the Millennium 50mm f1.4. So I just took it out of the bag and mounted it to the Camera! It will be used!

Do the amadeo / kippon adapters only work on 5cm? Can you use the 3.5cm with them?

Depends on which Amedeo adapter. Some are dedicated internal mount 50mm, others will work with both internal and external. The 35/3.5 and 35/2.5 are both compatible with the latter.

Truly sad that the Chinese manufacturer of an inexpensive adapter decided to cheapen the design by not allowing an adjustment for the external flanges of the bayonet mount. I'm lucky to have bought 2 of the good ones.
Jupiter-9 Contax/Kiev mount wide-open on my M9 using a $70 Chinese adapter. No longer made.
