Amedeo adapter

Hi,

Since it was designed to mate to Leica LTM or M, and you focus looking through the lens on the GXR, I reckon it should do just fine!

Even cheap adapters work on M 4/3 cameras, so an Amedeo (very fine) adapter will fit well.
He stated that some adapters work for 50mm or longer lenses.

Thanks for your answers. I have order now the Amedeo adapter. A little bit of headache I have with the wider Nikon s-mount lenses (35mm, 28mm and 25mm). Some users reporting that these lenses not work on a "real" rangefinder because the large rear element. But the GXR did not have a rangefinder mechanism which can cause any trouble.

If the adapter has arrived I will post a compatible list here..

cheers,
Marko

It has taken a little bit of time but now here comes the list of lenses.

Compatible:

28mm (2.8cm) F3.5 W-Nikkor
35mm (3.5cm) F2.5 W-Nikkor
35mm (3.5cm) F1.8 W-Nikkor

50mm (5cm) F2.0 Nikkor-H
50mm (5cm) F1.4 Nikkor-S
50mm (5cm) F1.4 Nikkor-S "Olympic" (Millennium)

Voigtlander SC 50mm (5cm) F3.5 Heliar NHS

More lenses I didn't have at hand. I think about a 85mm F2.0 Nikkor and a Voigtlander wide angle (21mm or 25mm) to purchase at the next time. If they arrived I will make a update here.

Hi Leo,

sorry but I haven't a picture of these combo. But I can say easily that these combo works wonderful in weight and size. It was my favorite setup with the Ricoh GXR! But for some weeks ago I have sell my whole GXR system (and the most of the Nikon S lenses) and work now with the Sony Alpha 7.

as attachment, a example taken with these combo..
