I was recently at the Degree show for UCA Farnham and came across this from one of the graduates. It is great take on the photographer and their image, as the image is projected onto a wall by the camera itself. A very clever conversion of the camera using an LED torch and what looks like an enlarging lens on the front produces an intriguing effect. The outer casing has been striped away to reveal the inner workings so not sure what cameras they were. The shape of the body made me think at first they were range-finder designs but I think they all have a pentaprism making them SLR's .

It all made for a very interesting piece, only beaten for me, by the wonderful book produced by another student documenting a family having to accommodate 6 people in their 2 bed house as their children returned home unable to afford housing of their own - sadly a symptom of modern Britain - Sorry did'nt take any pictures of that

What great ideas, both the Degree Show and Julius Von Bismarck's Image Fulgurator. Of course Julius's device would work better if the other photographers were using film, with digital they know that they are being spoofed almost immediately. Of course if your a press photographer you might not be so enamoured by the projections. 😉
