I pretty much concur with everything the reviewer says (although I have no opinion about the 60mm lens yet - I'm saving that for the next GAS attack). HOWEVER, I'd say his comments about manual focus difficulties tell me he hasn't discovered the viewer magnification button yet. Using one button push causes the view to be magnified A LOT, providing the most accurate manual focusing tool I've ever had in any camera I've owned.

I wish Fuji would implement a two stage magnification for focus assist like the one one the Nex. Lenses greater than 50mm are hard on your eyes due to camera shake is magnified.. Like watching home videos made before image stabilization came to video cameras..

the 60 is a very sharp lens but focuses the slowest of the three. I expect it to be the nature of the beast considering that it is a macro lens. The 54 f1.4 planned for 2013 maybe a better lens if u don't need macro. In the meantime, m mount 50s maybe a good enough alternative for some situations.
