Can we analyze our own papers? I have my Dad’s B&W prints for the 40’s and 50’s and it would be an interesting analytical exercise. I know he used DuPont and I think Agfa.
I think that to analyze paper, you have to expose it to a calibrated set of gray-tone exposures, then measure the actual tones you get after developing the paper. So you can't do it with old prints.
