And...we're back

I actually took some photos late this afternoon:eek:
Really, Saturdays are--when I am home in Cortland--given to my mom: I take to do her shopping and then help her out with stuff around her place.
But YES, I am very happy to see that we are back and the server migration went well!

After the initial shock had worn off (it was as if I'd gone to my favourite coffee shop and found the premises boarded up) I realised I suffer from an RFF addiction. The nearest therapist was the art gallery - The Mad Square: Modernity in German Art 1910-1937 exhibition was about to close and I'm so glad I caught it: prints by Moholy-Nagy, August Sander, Wolfgang Sievers, E O Hoppe, Hugo Erfurth and many more, as well as fabulous paintings, drawings, lithographs and sculpture. Thanks guys!

This hiatus presented an opportunity to use my time more wisely.

Me too. I slept through the whole thing. :)

Edit: then went to the local camera market: sold some stuff (including an LX) and bought one camera - GSW690. :D

The great thing for me is that our clocks fall back an hour tonight, so that means an extra hour of RFF tomorrow morning!;)

Now click your heels together three times and say “there's no place like home...

Cheers,
Gary

You meant RFF experienced technical issues? That would never happen :)

I never noticed it.

Instead, I did the following in total ignorant bliss to the whole saga...

got good sleep
went running for an hour
took the family out to the local monthly arts/crafts/food/trinkets markets
got myself a camera (black paint MP BTW)
walked the dog
mowed the lawn
fed the family (lunch & dinner)
played with my kids

All on a lazy Sunday.

Maybe RFF should be down more often :)

Really? Everybody did something useful for a change in RFF's absence? Well, my day was completely waisted, checking in all day long to see if we were already back again...!

You`re back!!!!!!

You`re back!!!!!!

Yipeeeeee, you`re back. I missed you. You don`t realize how much things (and people) mean to you until you`ve lost them.
Right, on with my RFFing. Doh . . . where do I start?????? So much to read, so little time . . . . . . :)

Had to cover the screen on our deck, then company came over until late. Then I found out RFF was down. ????

Went to sleep for a while and awoke to discover it was all a bad dream. :D

Glad RFF is back up. Like everyone else, it is a nice haven, full of good folks and good information.

Had t go out all day one OWS rally, then a large but poorly planed cultural music fest(no handicaped parking, then a 45 min. wait to but a ticket)then a very nice Mullet festival, Good food ,nice venders, and lots of photo opp's . Was the site down?

I introduced my other half to the joys of the darkroom.

We also printed some negs while we were in there. :p

Is it just me or is anyone else seeing a problem with the last message time stamp? It says that the last update was 2 hours ago, but when I click into the thread the last message was actually 2 days earlier. This seems to be happening for multiple threads.

Post migration bug?
