De gustibus non disputandum est and all that, but in the year 2000 there was an Arnold Newman retrospective exhibition at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC. It was breathtaking. The Newman's exhibition was on the second floor and Leibovitz had, at the same time, a portrait exhibition, called Women, on the third floor. There is no comparison of the quality of the work and, in my view, Leibovitz was unfortunate to have exhibited at the same time as Newman — her work simply could not stand up to his....I was pleasntly surprised to see my fav photographer using an x100.,

In all likelihood it was probably just used as a prop for the photo.
I'm actually fairly sure she does use the x100. As above she used a hexad AF for a long time as a personal camera.

I'm thinking if you're going to sit on a box in a stream you'd want to keep your camera dry.

He was one of the greats, no doubt about it. His picture of Igor Stravinski just blew my hat in the creek as a young man! Then I listened to The Firebird and well...De gustibus non disputandum est and all that, but in the year 2000 there was an Arnold Newman retrospective exhibition at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC. What a weirdo lol.
I'm with Pablito. It's bad enough the general public help themselves to photographers' images off the web, let alone other photographers who ought to have a grasp of at least the basics of copyright law. You haven't even provided attribution. And yes it is a breach of forum rules. So remove the goddamn photo. Please.

Coffee or camera commercial?
Correct. It is from the 2012 Lavazza Calendar, 12 Master Photographers who have worked on the calendar over the years. So yes, it's an advertisement for coffee. Gotta wonder if Fuji was in on the deal as well

It's a fake. They had the photo with coffee but no camera in it so they fixed it.
Nice pants though.

It's not fake. Check the LAVAZZA site for September 2012. Fuji X100 Camera is there so not sure what you are on about ...

What a miserable thread.
SOmeone posts a photo from an ad with Annie Liebovitz.
Bunch of people who own cameras pop up saying she's no good as a photographer.
Bunch of people claim she looks funny (like, er, is looking like an Adonis a requirement for male photographers?).
Finally, rff rules quite clearl forbid posting copyright images; but in this case, the image is an advertisement! The criteria for fair use are therefore quite different.

Aw jeez..i like the photo..
a hard working pro having a break..
nice colors, nice composition,,
real sharp unlike those stoopid 0.95 images..
from another famous Leica using photographer,
where nothing is in focus..
i guess it couldn't be the Fuji for this shot..
