well first of all nice find, it's nice to see photos of photographers with their camera whether staged or candid.
i like that red accent on the X100 though is that an accessory that you can get or was it just some red tape on the MF/AF switch?
lastly, I'm guilty on occasionally using a short strap, at least down to the chest area as it makes it faster bringing to your eyes.
it works well on the X100 as it's a light camera, I tried it on the Xpan and weight made it a little uncomfortable though

Only on RFF ... Seems we have a lot of unhappy people on here as of late.
Yep ... hopefully it will pull`round.
I`ve always liked her work ...her and Jim Marshall ,when they were both staff photographers at Rolling Stone in the late sixties/seventies.

I've always admired the work of Annie Leibovitz and have been following her career for decades as I'm sure many other RFF members have done. Within her genre, she is truly outstanding and will surely have a place in photographic history. Not everyone likes 'glam' images of celebrities, but you have to give credit to a photographer who can get a score of them together at the same time and get a perfect shot. There's a documentary about Annie which pops up on PBS stations from time to time and although it's getting on in years, it's fascinating. As to equipment, she uses all kinds of cameras in the documentary from Leica Ms to many types of MF film camera. Call me corny, but I always open a copy of Vanity Fair (which I never buy) with eager anticipation as to what she's been up to lately. Thanks all...TW

Yes, this. I agree. Why do so many threads lately have to devolve into weirdness and spitefulness?
I like Annie's work, I like the photo, I like the camera, and I'm glad it was shared.

Annie's wearing a small black strap on the x100 because a big strap on the camera would lower the camera to far to be seen. It's just for the photo -- not for practical using. I like a 31 inch long strap on my cameras. Could be an inch shorter if I have my jacket off.

Indeed. Thank goodness they still have APUG to kick around. Pot meets kettle, huh?

Isn't that what the ignore list is meant to help?

Hmmm. For some of us, that should read "up to the sewers".
