it seems that the adobe "Photography Program" (Photoshop and Lightroom plus storage, Behance portfolio, etc.) is available for US$9.99 a month (in the US)... But only for Photoshop CS6 owners, NOT for CS6 suite owners. US$29.99 a month...
what's with that?

Not sure Casey. I am a CS3, CS4, CS5.5 owner and I got the photography bundle no problem. Just go try to sign up for it, it will check your eligibility and approve or deny.

There is often a distinction between suite and individual product owners, due to the differences in End User Licensing Agreements. This is nothing new.

Probably for US only.

thanks for the comments... I have no issue with a company making a profit, sometimes it's just difficult to understand the business strategy...

I was told that their policy on this for everyone across the globe was going to be pretty liberal since they are trying to get people to use this. And that even people who signed up for or who will sign up for Single App and pick Photoshop will get the lower price package that includes LightRoom. You just may have to call them to get that price.
The guy I spoke to told me it will take a while to roll everything out and send out the offer cards/mailings/email. You should call from your location and ask about it.
I know, like I said, I don't own an individual license of Photoshop CS3... I have the Suite, and I got approved for the $10 thing no problem via their website.
