My experience is that the Minolta 5400II is mechanical junque, packaged with good software.
The stats (5400ppi) do not reflect visual resolution over 4000ppi in the single test I've seen...in other words, it builds huge files but doesn't beat the better-built, reliable Nikon.
There's a reason pros never have bothered with Minolta cameras.
