Another roll of C Biogon vs Biogon

It still seems to me that the C-Bio retains more shadow details (especially in the last set of pictures, there is more detail in the leaves in the newer lens).

An impressive little lens...

I am seriously thinking about selling my Biogon, as I value the compactness of the newer lens a lot.

again, thank you, jon.
this time, the results appear to be even closer. quite a nice base to discuss with myself which one i like better. :p

again it seems to me tat cbiogon is a bit longer than old biogon. which one of those to is closer to 35mm framelines?

Depends on your camera. I've heard that the ZI's 35mm lines work well for the 40 Nokton, so my guess would be that the C-Biogon is closer to the framelines. I don't have either 35, so it's just an assumption.

Not surprisingly, the C-Biogon has a LOT more light falloff in the corners at 2.8 than the Biogon.

A bit more surprisingly, the Biogon at 2.0 still has (slightly) less light falloff than the C-Biogon at 2.8.
