Summarit users,
Does your aperture mark line up with your focussing mark or is it at 12 o'clock when the lens is in the camera (ltm) or is it at 3 o'clock when viewed from the front?
Or, put another way, where is it supposed to be?

When my Summarit is mounted on my Bessa R, looking from the top down, the aperture selections are all on the top of barrel. The focusing mark is between one and two o'clock when looking at the camera straight on. Mine is an early 1949 Summarit (Taylor, Taylor, and Hobson), so if you have a later version, it may be different.
Hope that helps. Cheers!
