Can someone tell me if the correct takeup spool for a Zorki 4 is one-piece or two-piece? I received one from Eastern Europe off the auction site and, as best I can tell, it's one-piece.
Thanks.

Kenny I'll check mine when I get home but I think it's one piece.

I can't check mine because I have film right now in it, but the take up spool looks like this one http://zorkikat.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/IGP33062.jpg (it's just one piece) and it goes in there http://www.paulbg.com/camera/take-up4.jpg . Pay attention to the spool as it doesn't get fixed without film and it will fall and (in the worst case) break against the floor. Enjoy your new acquisition!!

I'm quite certain it's something I did wrong but after two exposures, the shutter stopped cocking. I experienced this initially but RFF user(s) kindly pointed out to me that that collar around the shutter release had to be in a certain position for the shutter to cock. Once I remedied that, I was able to get the shutter to fire. So now, looks like I'm back to square one with this Zorki.
