Why is the new Voigtlander Bessa III 667's Rangefinder / Viewfinder arguably the most advanced NOW in production? --- More advanced than any other current Voigtlander, Zeiss, or Leica rangefinder?

No current Leica, Zeiss, or for that matter other Voigtlander rangefinder has field size correction -- ie the frame size increases or decreases to correspond to the focused distance.

This is actually a very big deal. I can't help but wonder if Voigtlander will find a way to put this feature into other rangefinders.

Having enjoyed this capability in a Rapid Omega 35+ years ago, I petitioned Mamiya to include it when creating the 7 "II" version. Sorry, Mamiya replied, "too complicated." Good work, Cosina.
