Apparently on tap for release the first half of next year: the Fuji 90mm f2 lens. I'm looking forward to it. Back in the day, the 135mm focal length was very popular. These days you hardly see it, except in legacy lenses. I always found it useful.

Looking ahead, I can see my kit as a 14, 35 and 90 or FF equivalent of 21mm, 50mm and 135mm, same as my M3 equipment in days of yore.

So far, Fujifilm has really been knocking them out of the park with their XF lenses. This should be another one. Though it might be very large, going by the mockups so far.

Twenty years ago, I started photographing the girls in my high school with a Nikkor 135mm. My Nikons are on the shelf now, so now I must choose between 56mm or 90mm...

backalley : the 90mm.

We do not have the size specs, but it looks almost as large as my canon 135mm L.

i thought maybe you were talking about the 16!
have to admit that i'm not interested in the 90…135 was never a lens that i 'understood'…it seemed to be in between sizes…

as far as the 16…i'd be happy if it had the same filter size as the 23/56...

I look forward to it for club shooting, 135 is a great length for getting tight in some venues. If it's too large, I'll adapt a cron 90 though I'd like to have AF of course.

I hope it's large because they inlcuded IS.
I used the Fuji 55-200 to cover an event recently.
The IS in this lens works superbly! I was at 100mm for most of the day with that lens.
90 would have been perfect.

The big zoom at around 100mm
