Any 35mm summicron asph users

Is it good? It is super. Others might be too. The 35 cron asph is a super lens.

If you have the money, get the 'cron asph. For landscapes, you shall not miss any
other 35mm.

Summicron is 2.0, Summarit is 2.4 (2.5 on paper) it is only half stop slower, I prefer Summarit for less contrast, size and price. Also Summarit better for flare control, actually has no flare.

I've owned the Summicron a long time and it meets all my needs. But, if I were someone first purchasing a 35, I would definitely consider the Summarit as well. These lenses get short shrift from many Leica vets, but I think that's more about ignorance, or arrogance, or both.

Fact is, both the Summicron and Summarit are fantastic lenses, each fully capable of meeting or exceeding most any photographer's abilities. The IQ differences are more academic than practical, especially in prints.
