Any experience buying from 17th Street Photo?

Does anyone have any experience ordering from this store? Their reseller ratings are good but I'd prefer to hear first hand experiences from someone here.

I'm looking to buy a Nikon LS-9000 scanner and they seemed to be the only reputable store with it in stock.

I bought a Tokina 12-24 from them once with no problems. I think I've also bought one other thing from them but I don't remember what it was. Either way, no issues.

Well, I got the Nikon CS 9000 from 17th Streep Photo and it was delivered quickly and witih no issues whatsoever. I'd buy from them again.

I bought a Panasonic LX3 and 24mm viewfinder from them in September. They arrived in three days, well-packaged, in perfect shape. I'd definitely buy from them again.

This mail order outfit is located in Brooklyn, and probably has nothing to do with any store in Manhattan where you shopped.
There are plenty of clip joints in Brooklyn. My advice is to do your homework before buying from one of them...

FWIW, I've bought a few things from 17th Street Photo as well. Fast shipping, good packing, no problems.
