Refuses to suffer fools
I've always admired classic Minox cameras (B, C, III, IIIs) - they're like little jewels. I managed to pick up a clean early IIIs and working meter a number of years ago, and made a point of shooting the daylights out of it for a year or so. They're capable of amazing results with the slow speed films like Tech Pan that are needed because of the fixed f/3.5 aperture.
I just found the camera and accessories again today. My first thought was to sell it off to add to the M3 fund, but now I'm not so sure. Handling it brought back those old feelings of being fascinated that a working camera could be so small and precise. Besides, looking at eBay it looks like the market for them has tanked.
Is anyone else here interested in Minoxii? They're direct view, so they kinda fit in at RFF... 😉 I'm considering picking up a film slitter and looking for a submini enlarger.
