Any Thoughts on the Pentax X-5

Any thought's on the Pentax X-5? This just might be my 1st digital camera.
Under $300.00 is a big bonus.

One of the nicer superzooms, and the price is right, but it's not for me.

Probably a great all-round daytime camera. However, its very small sensor will limit the low-light capability a considerable bit.

I've read some concern about the small sensor size but I'm like you, we'll see. I'm more of a wide to normal (50mm) shooter but the extra mm is nice if you need it. Nice to read the macro is very good too.

Wow ... that is a lot of camera for the price!

EVF and a tilting screen ... and it doesn't look half bad either!

Small sensor but it's back-thinned which buys you roughly a full stop. Looks great.
