Any truth to the rumour that there is an M-D monochrom coming?

Some see the M-D as the ultimate digital RF camera. The closest thing to a film M there could be w/ a digital sensor.
But what about the rumour I just made up 😀 that they are going to release an M-D-M?
That would really be the purest expression of digital photography. The M-D already looks like it should only be shooting B&W images!

Leica M-D-M. It even sounds right.

If it happens Leica is probably the only company that could pull it off and still make a profit. Or, perhaps a custom ordering option wherein the M-D could have the option of being sold with a monochrome sensor. I'm not at all interested but there must be at least some market for such a Digital Imageing Device. (Sorry, I refuse to digital a 'Camera')
