Did one of you guys buy the "inoperative, ugly" III that was listed on KEH for $41 last night?

I knew it was now or never when I saw it. Couldn't convince myself that this was a good idea, it had to be too far gone for my skills.

I bid on a not quite purdy M4 once... It was described as having a little fungus in the viewfinder... and I thought: "Heck, a few sunbaths should take care of that!"

But then, I was outbid. Who did it? 😕

BTW, I'm not into Barnack Leicas. If I were... I probably would have nabbed it. And then, probably not...
