John is passionate about photography. You guys dissing him have only seen a few video's. He doesn't really down rangefinders, he just states that they are not the camera for him. Can't down a man who believes a Nikon F3 is a great camera & it's all one needs.

you can take workshops from some of the leading figures in photography today, or if you are frugal as I, you can interface with the rising talent of tomorrow. both of these options are very reasonably priced as of late.

He's entertaining. But his website, the small images, and the small number of images, and how it's laid out -- my take away was that he's more talk than show -- but that's based on his site. I do agree that practice is vital.
