Anybody using 'The pod'?

Anybody here using 'The pod' for camera support?

I have one (received for free with my subscription to LFI magazine), but to be honest, I never used it yet...

I used one this summer for a small camcorder, positioning it on my dashboard for a 'roadtrip' video. I only wish the bottom were made of some non-skid material, but other than that, it's pretty handy for just plunking a camera down on an uneven surface.
