I'm in that wonderful place Nuremberg, fantastic views and some great architecture in the center. Unfortunately last night by the time I left the office it was very dark and started to rain so no snaps (yet.. hopefullly the x-ray will not have stuffed my film).

Anyone here local who can recommend good places to eat and have a beer in the town? I'm only here for a day or two and the company is feeding me tomorrow.

If you can, I recommend visiting Neues Museum (close to the train station),
located just inside the medieval fortifications. Splendid architecture
and plenty of places around where you can grab a bite and a nice
beer.

cheers

Thanks for the information, that will be very close to my hotel. Should keep me busy tonight, be even better if these clouds go away when I leave the office.

Bratwurst Röslein, off the Hauptmarkt or main market square (the in front of the Frauenkirche, where the Schönebrunnen is) offers the best Nuremberg bratwurst ever at a very good price. It's the one I like the best. Don't go to the one on the side of the Rathaus, called something like Bratwursthaus, because their stuff isn't par with Rösslein's. That's all I can tell you from the top of my head.

Otherwise, if you're on the company's penny, there's a very nice, fancy restaurant behind Lorenzkirche, calle Lorenz. While it may be pricy, it's really worth a try, and if you're at loss, the staff speaks English. A nice dinner for two was around 40 Euros last June, for my wife and I.
