Anyone had this problem with their m8?

Dave is right. You need to do this every time. I learned the hard way. I took some pictures and transferred them to my computer directly from the card. I put the card back in the camera and took a few more shots. Nothing showed up on the card. So I formatted the card in the camera and everything was fine.

It was Keith that said it 😀 but I'm willing to take the credt...hehe... 😀

That said, the formatting of the card is important to prevent the usual "Hey, how come I'm shooting RAW but it says I have 485 images left ????" strangeness as well as other errors.

I usually format mine when I've already downloaded them via the card reader and want to clear the images for the next shoot.
