Heyo!
Had a blast out in Sturgis, especially seeing the local landscape.. breathtaking!
I will admit, I did NOT take my Leica M8, I was still waiting for a set of batteries.
So I decided to take my little III and Summar, along with a Nikon SLR. I knew right off the rip, Monday morning, I was not going to be very concerned with taking photo's, more so with having a great time... I take pictures everyday.
Mostly I spent my time drinking, relaxing, and making friends with the locals. I did grab a fair amount of pictures of a close by mountain, Bear Butte, those turned out great and ill be sure to post some. Otherwise I mostly stuck to the IPhone camera for in town stuff, and lets be honest 1.2million people.. it was hard getting a good photo of anything downtown without stepping on feet and getting elbowed.
Enjoyed visiting Deadwood for an epic bar/casino crawl! Oh man...fun fun fun!
Rushmore was as impressive as I could have expected, and not so bad getting in.
Hands down the Needles Highway was the best of it all! I did get a few IPhone snaps while we cruised through, but I had left my camera's locked up in the truck the night before and our party split early before I could get to them, So I was wishing I could have taken better photo's, but heck, google has it all 😉
Possibly the BEST vacation I've been on to this day! Everyone was so nice! The woman beautiful! The Drinks cold! Who could ask for more!
