Just out of curiousity... When you buy something from someone do you send a money order or something? I was trading so we just cross shipped at the same time.....

Typo I corrected. I meant March. I think it was like the 23rd of March.

Email the seller and talk. He may have had a family emergency, he may be sick (I hope not), his computer may be down, he may be on vacation, he may have sent the stuff and it's got held up.

Anyway talk friendly, assume the guy is in good faith.

John (flashover) lives a bit north of me, but I'm not 100% sure in which town. Met him a couple of times, but haven't seen or heard of him in a while.

Alright, would anyone mind if they state how much they are behind by in terms of $ so we can estimate the extent of this thing? I'm off by $100 inclusive of shipping, assuming he has shipped.

Im out a mint QL17 GIII plus what I paid to ship it.
According to the USPS it was delivered successful.

Honestly I have no idea how long it takes to ship anything from the US to Canada.
Could this be the norm?

There is no customs duty into the US.

Hmmm probably something I should have known.

I must say all of Flashover’s emails while we corresponded seemed very sincere. He was always very quick to respond, up until the beginning of May. Since then I have not heard back.

But it has to go through both Canadian and US customs before being turned over to USPS. And both are slower than ........

I guess. I've only "sold" into CDN - have never "bought" the other way. Via USPS I've had stuff delivered from NY to ON in about 5 days.

Look, I don't have a dog in this fight so will bow out.

I hope it's all just a matter of poor communication - keep us all informed.

the only thing i have heard from him, was that he got behind in things and sent out my ball head late.
that was about 2 weeks ago.

so i too hope all is well and that there will be a package waiting for me at home soon.

Joe lives in Canada as does John, so it's not a customs issue and maybe not a Canadian postal problem.
