Tacky and unsophisticated. I don't see the point.
Some might argue it's good protection for the camera. :confused:

Fake does not equal Leica.
 
I just took another look. I guess the matte black skin isn't too bad. Really, it's about the same as the people who cover up their cameras with gaffers tape.

Fugly. But then again, I think all those colored and leather coverings (aside from the black griptac) are just as ugly.

Also, I never thought of a Leica as being "classy". It's a camera, not a pair of cufflinks! Then again, I'm definitely a vulgarian so what do I know??? :)

Yup gotta be different Why settle for a plain vanilla 7K M9 when you can be the first kid on the block with Banana yellow with red spot to match :)
 
I'm going to be the first to say it, but not half bad! I really love dark wood grain. But I will enjoy rubbing my chrome M2 for awhile before ever putting on one of those. Thanks for sharing.
 
I even see an M9P kit on there, can't really see me using this thing ever, and cant comprehend how agressive their advertising is, seeing this on YouTube, Facebook, several portals i frequent and even in gmail... Guess there is a market for this, but i feel sorry for the cameras...
 
I think this whole idea that a leica is the latest hip new fashion accessory is stupid. People go on about what great cameras they are but so many of these people never actually use them, but just hang them round their necks all accesorised with the latest "pink italian spaghetti calf leather straight off a ferrari half case that cost $1000" :bang:

...Maybe I should go and sit in the corner for a while:eek:
