Anyone seen this yet?!?

Yes I have seen this before, mentioned on (where else) Cameraquest.com. You are right, it is a rebranded Kobalux. I think at one time they also offered the Kobalux 21 as an Adorama brand lens. Recently Bob Shell of Shutterbug magazine sold his Kobalux 21 and 28 on ebay. I had checked the Adorama web site before trying to find these lenses with out success. I wonder if they have recently restocked them, or found an old supply somewhere.

Before buying my wide-angle, a shooter from this area offered me one of these; I was looking for faster glass so I didn't buy it. Later I heard that the Kobalux lenses aren't that bad after all... And that they're now marketed under the Adorama brand name.

Surprises and things you learn. But if you really want strange things, look into the history of the early Leica glass and its "independent" manufacturers.
