Anyone using non fsu lenses on fsu cameras?

Basically the title says it all. Is anyone successfully using non fsu lenses on a fsu body? I have a few bodies and a couple lenses and would be interested in trying other lenses on these that are not fsu.

I'm succesfully using a 1947 coated Elmar 9cm on my Zorki 1.
Works fine for me.
But you have to be careful when mounting. The RF coupling ring of the Elmar is quite thin, it can slip behind the sensor tip of the RF arm. If that happens, the RF patch won't show the correct focus.

I have used Leitz Summar 50mm on Zorki-6 and FED-1 for many years. It's fine, and there is no coupling trouble. I have also used M42 SLR lenses. Needless to say, there is no rangefinder coupling, and not much point to this, but with a wide angle like the Mir-20, a rangefinder is more or less ceremonial anyway.

Good info guys! I have been wanting to try some other lenses but not really wanting to buy a new body.
