Since everyone is loving the OVF/EVF, I wonder if anyone is using the LCD display at all for live view?
Well I am.
I find the lcd display really good and the colors coming out of it is so smooth and vibrant. I feel it's even better than Nex's 921k dots resolution.

Not me, other than menu changes of course. One of the main reasons I bought it is because of the OVF and the fact that it has dioptre correction, so I'm not going to waste it using the LCD

Macro mode, and when getting a low or high perspective not possible with the viewfinder.

Ride, dive, shoot.
Not much. OVF for all shooting other than macro, EVF for macro. I use LCD to change settings, but when I'm out, I'm pretty much shooting RAW with basic controls only I don't need to change settings via LCD. I don't even preview shots unless my companion demands instant preview.
I haven't yet, but I'm sure I will eventually.

Spent my first full day with my X100 and never used it for creating an image. Did a bit of chimping but have decided that the quality of the LCD is not very good out in bright daylight. It's pretty good inside but still not anywhere near my DSLR LCD. I turned it off in the settings menu so I need force it on (also saves on battery power).
I'm thinking I'd use it in a pinch, as previous posters have indicated, when presented with a poor vantage point.

Useful for when I gave it to a waitress to take a picture of the family - works just like a P&S.

Menu changes... yes. Occasional chimping... yes. Otherwise... no.
