anyone who know about Balda please tell

This is the one with the "Key" rewind on the bottom of the camera?

It is a selenium cell, trap-needle automatic camera. You set the shutter speed, it sets the aperture, It has an F2.8 lens, proably a Tessar copy. Nice big viewfinder with a bright RF spot. It is one of the earlier automatics, better than a Retina Auto I, and closer to the Retina Auto III. The selenium cell meters tend to go out, leaving you with an manual camera.

These cameras, and most of the fixed-lens, trap-needle automatic, Full-size, Selenium metered, cameras were aimed more at the serious amatuers. These days they do not fetch much, figure $25~$50.

Here is a description of it by a shop:

And another picture, showing it with a different lens/shutter:

I just got my mom's old Baldamatic I, with a Prontormat shutter. The meter seems to be working which is a surprise. It seems to be fully automatic - is that right? Is there anymore information on this model out there?
