Anyone with a 21/4 for sale?

Thought I'd ask. Thinking about the Color Skopar 21/4 with finder.

After 52 views.... Clearly, anyone who's got one is profoundly uninterested in selling it.

Which says more about the lens than anything I can think of. Guess I'll just have to take my desire to Stephen Gandy.

The 21mm on my SLR is my favorite. Deam setup: New Zeiss 21mm with the new future R4 with 21mm frame lines. Sweet. Then again.....an older SWC would be about the same price....hmmmmm....

Unfortunately I think you are right. Most people do not seem to give up their 21/4 Skopars too easily. I know I won't. I had the problem when looking and had to buy new, if that is any consolation.

Yeah, that beat up M2 in my avatar shows the Super Angulon 21.

It belongs to my friend, Matt Cook, who looked at me as if I were demented when I asked him if he wanted to sell the lens (I even offered to buy the camera in the bargain).

"You don't sell lenses like this," he said, in the tones of a schoolmaster lecturing a student, "You BUY lenses like this."

Especially given that the new wideangle-specific Bessas are on the way, I doubt many folks will be planning to sell theirs.
