Aperture

That would be pretty great - but I'm not holding my breath. I use LR at work, after a while, it just wasn't worth it to use Aperture at home. I was getting better results, faster, and easier with LR. But Adobe has really put me off with the cloud/subscription model. After more than 15 years of using Photoshop and Creative Suite products in a professional setting, I'm dumping them. I would be thrilled if Apple gave Aperture a serious inside/outside update like they took Final Cut Pro to Final Cut X. (I am one of those rare people who thought that was a great change.) I would go back to Aperture in a minute.

Would love to c them add some more features so I would not have to use ps at all. I would also love for them to support foveon raw files.

The only thing I really miss is perspective adjustment. I opened my version of Elements the other day for the first time in months. That was only to modify some jpegs.

Oh well. Some very nice improvements to iCloud Photos. No mention of Aperture per se. But I see DXO is offering a perspective correction plugin for Aperture. I should check that out. Anyone using DXO Viewpoint 2 as an Aperture plug-in? Does it really add DXO Optic Modules and Perspective Correction in a seamless fashion?

So, are we flogging a dead horse in anticipation that it might come to life, or is a Apple concentrating on this new iPhoto?
