I might be able to make it. Do we have a time and place yet?

So I'll check out O'Leary's, but I think it might not be the best place as it is the second Red Sox home game on the 14th and I expect it will be jammed.
I would suggest meeting at 12 or 1. I'm open to place–other suggestions?

I may go to the fair in Wakefield but I'm afraid a pub meet is just not my thing.

So I was emailing with Keyne and he suggested Jimmy's in Washington Square, Brookline. Bigger and more open than they Abbey, and they do take reservations. So that would be my suggestion. What does everyone say?

I'm up for any of those places mentioned, and sometime around 12 or 1 works well for me.

Great. So... head count? Looks like we're at 6 so far.
I'll make the reservation early this week. I vote for noon, unless anyone prefers a bit later?

Great. We have a noon reservation at Jimmy's, on Beacon st. in Washington Square, Brookline. There's room for a couple more in case, but please confirm soon so I can expand the reservation if necessary.
Thanks!

Sorry to miss all of you; I was out of town. Hope we'll have another gathering soon. Harry's prints are terrific. Any photos (that is, of the group)?

We didn't manage a group shot; the best we did was a group shot of our gear....

I finished the roll in my Canonet today, and should have a few image files for posting mid-week or so.
I tell ya, looking through Harry's M9 and Dilip's M2was like a religious experience. I like RF's because I find aligning things easier than judging fuzziness to focus in a viewfinder. That said, I had NO IDEA a rangefinder patch could be so distinct. At first I thought it was just the newness of the M9, but then I saw it was similar in the old M2, and I realized it was not a newness thing- it is a Leica thing. Very impressive.

I think Ed's in trouble. I see Leica lust coming on.
