Phil,
I'm kinda excited about the rumored M10. If it is B&W only and it has great dynamic range, then I might kinda go crazy, sell some gear and get one regardless of cost. I would still shoot lots of film, but I would explore digital as a separate medium.
Currently I have more gear than I need or can use in a practical sense so culling down can be a good thing. I have a killer Leica kit, a large Nikon SLR kit and mucho medium format.
My girlfriend once offered to buy me a M9, and now she's saying that she will cough up some dough to help me buy a M10, but I still love shooting B&W film and another part of me wants to move into a larger unit in my building that would be two bedroom/two bathrooms so I can wet print, even though we just moved in last November.
Thinking a loud its probably best to just stay analog because I optimized almost all my cameras where all I have left to do is get a MP finder upgrade on my 0.85 M6 and send my Tele Rolleiflex to Harry Fleenor for an overhaul and Maxwell screen upgrade and I will be done, then I need to cull down and get rid of excess gear. NO MORE NEW CAMERAS.

Looks like a great meet-up. I have a 50mm Planar ZM, 50mm Elmar-M (black), and a Harman Titan 4x5" Pinhole Kit for sale if anyone is interested in seeing them in person for a possible purchase.

You know I'm broke as hell but I might be able to make something happen for a 50 Planar. The incredibly long focus throw of the Canon 50mm f/1.2 is not conducive to any quick focusing.
This would all be a non-issue if I could use my DR Summicron on that M9! C'mon Leica, get with it.

I'm staying away from digital until the M10 comes out. Meanwhile I'm going to hoard some film and place a massive order for Arista Premium and Tri-X in 120 to push for our night shooting.

Fuji X-Pro1 of course. Fast lens and great high ISO. My comment was that last time everyone wanted to see the X100 badly, but once I brought it, it was ripped apart for not being a rangefinder and for being too digital. Well, this time, I'd rather not deal with that nonsense.

Anyways I'll probably bring out my reconfigured Nikon F3P with its new grip and Noct-Nikkor. Still a heavy beast, even without the motordrive.
I added the MF-18 Databack so it kinda resembles a digital camera. You know me, I create cameras that are monsters. LOL.
The new Beattie Intenscreen has this supersized split prism that makes it like a rangefinder. Very bright VF'er especially with the F1.2 Noct-Nikkor.

You are welcome to make fun of any of my cameras. I'm bringing a SLR to a rangefinder Meet-Up so I guess I'm asking for it. LOL.
BTW Phil my Nikon F3P was a newspaper press camera and participated in covering Operation Desert Storm.
