New York April NYC Meet-Up

Hey Joe, if you're downtown around Wall Street over the next couple of days, let me know. I work on Broad and Beaver.

Was just offered a full-time job today at the company where I have been freelancing!!!

no hat today...but lots of security...wow!
went to Chinese embassy , walked on the highline, very cool...bought a lens at b&h, ate lunch...lirr travel....and now I'm exhausted...

The red building. Sounds like you had a full day.

I tripped the shutter for someones group portrait with a 4x5 deardorf today so they could be in the picture themselves.
Dialogue of the day;
"Hey, I like your camera."
"thanks"
"it's old!"
"well, it's probably about as old as I am".
"it's antique!"
"no, it's not that old".
 
Hey guys, any idea on how long you'll be at Puck Fair?? My son has a birthday party to go to Saturday, but it is sure to be a washout. Rain date is Sunday and if I can get away.... I'd love to meet Mr. Backalley.

We are usually there until about 5:00 PM.

Also anyone want a small rotory paper trimmer. Perhaps its a 16-18 inch model. For me it is surplus. I already have a large one and don't need two. The deal is that you need to come pick it up after the meet-up. I'm still culling down and getting ready for another move in the fall.

Not heavy. Its a pro paper trimmer with a rotary cutting wheel. The price is right: Free.

I already own a big/large version that I bought at the end of a PhotoPlusExpo at a good price. Pretty hard to justify owning two when I have to live in a one bedroom apartment.
