I decided to give this combo a try, based on recommendations I have read on this forum, for a 100 speed film. I am very impressed. Thanks for the recommendations.

Ha! The tower on the right holds the Royal Darkroom.
Very attractive tonality! Can't get a handle on the scale, but it looks like a molded plastic toy...

BTW a couple of tips for APX100 in Rodinal
- Diluting Rodinal gives negatives with smaller grain and longer tonal scales. Dilutions higher than 1+75 act slowly, and agitation becomes important. Agitate every 3-5 minutes at most! 1+100 for 25-30 minutes is not uncommon, I agitate once every 5 minutes.
- Rodinal works best with colder water, temperatures of 65-68F (18-20C) are the highest. After I heard this I tested with cold water (15C) and the quality was a bit better. Try to avoid high temperatrues.
- AGFA times are a bit on the dense side, I'd cut 15-20% from them. Specially for scanning.
- Adding vitamin C (4 g/l) and neutralizing it with baking soda (til the fizzing stops) adds another notch to working with Rodinal. 1+100 and 1+50 benefit the most.

Thanks for the tips.
I used Rodinal 1+50, 20C, 13 minutes. Agitation was first 30 secs, then one inversion every 30 secs.
Vit C and baking soda? That sounds interesting... I'll make sure and check that out.

I use the same time for 1+50 13 minutes but one inversion/minute
I found that 1+100+Vitamin C works well in 15 minutes with the same agitation pattern.
The key is to neutralize the acidity of Vitamin C/erythorbic acid (D or L ascrobic acid ) that can screw up the Rodinal, so I add 1tsp in 600ml and then go adding baking soda until the fizzing stops (about 1/2 teasp). Haven;t checked the pH more carefully but it seems to work well.
Sodium ascorbate/erythorbate would be a better option to use instead of neutralizing, but erythorbic acid is a lot easier for me to find (canning supplies).

If you click on "my gallery" the most recent photos uploaded sunday 6/5 were from the same roll. This one, IMHO, was the best example of the film/developer's characteristics.
