apx 400 in d76 1+1 - dev-time?

Hey guys,

does anyone of you use Agfa Apx 400 and develope it in D76 1+1? What time and temperature do you use? How does it look like then?

Nh3, it is the note 30 from that table there why I ask.

"Development data is taken from a previous version of this film. Starting point time may differ." is not very precise.

So... any tips, please?:angel:

The timings are consistent with Agfa's official numbers.

try this if you want to be on the safe side.

I went and checked my notes (sounds better than it is - a mess of sticky notes on a table!). My APX 400 times with D-76 are between 11-11.5 minutes for 1:1. Two turns every 60 sec - "vigorous agitation (shake, rattle and roll) for the first 30 sec. and a sharp "tap" to get rid of airbubbles.
I find that APX tends to need a bit more development time than TriX (by about a minute) - at least with my way of shooting. APX is also sensitive to agitation - too much - and the contrast goes way up, too little- and it goes "flat" and looses shadow detail.
