"Taking a leak." That's what I thought at first, but I opted to describe it as lemonade instead. 😉 It's still weird.
I usually only get colored pours with 120 or 4x5, which is usually an exciting, psychedelic purple, and the dye typically comes out with the pre-soak. With Rodinal I sometimes get very light purple effluent when I pour out the developer, but that tends to only happen when the film has been in longer than 12-13 minutes.
This film that poured yellow from the developer (not the pre-soak, which came out clear) is normal 24-exposure APX100 in a 135 can. The effluent smelled normal, looked normal, probably tasted normal (though I dared not find out). I've just purchased a bulk roll of this stuff (100' for $23.50!) so I'll soon find out if it's a normal occurence. It's still weird though, I've done APX400, Tri-X, TXP, 100/400 TMX, PX, FP4, HP5, Delta 100, Neopan 100/400, Forte, etc. and I've never seen a developer pour out yellow before.
In any case, no harm, no foul, so I'll just file this one under "darkroom oddities" and get on with my life. 🙂 Thanks for the replies, all.
