Are there two classified sections now?

I see new posts in the "old" classifieds section and then there is the new "premium" classifieds section.

The hotlink on the opening RFF page goes to Premium, but you can dig down to the old if you dig down through the Forums listing and then 35mm Classifieds. (I still like the "old" classified section better.

Why split items for sale into two sections? I think it divides the audience and the premium section, other than the more elaborate format, doesn't offer any additional value, IMHO.

there are 2 classifieds, yes.
jorge opened the old section almost as soon as he closed it in response to the membership.

afaik, the new classified section is open to the premium gallery folks to place an ad and to all of us to read.

Does the old classified section still take attachments?

One member stated they had problems with it.

Of all the, recent changes,I feel that the original Classified Sections are much to be preferred and I would fervently hope, that they be reinstated to replace the new Classified format,in order to protect and retain the comradely atmosphere of the Site.

You need to click on "forums" and then page down and click on "35mm Classifieds". They do not appear on the home page as they did before the change. They allow attachments, which allows much larger images of the equipment, test shots, whatever to be posted. The image size of the new classified's pretty much handicaps it for being useful for showing detail of the item being sold.
