Leica S2 is $23,000 S2 pro model $28,000 What does this pro model offer the other does not . This is a long way from the target $15,000 that was initially suggested.
Check out the lens pricing too if you have the stomach.
For the princely sum of $27,500 you can get the stripped down verion of the camera and the cheapest lens. Pony up $1200 extra for the grip.
All I wanted was a full frame rangefinder and/or an R10. I guess buying into Nikon a few years back while waiting was not such a bad move. By the time I have saved enough to buy this, I`ll be too old and feble to use it.
Notice there is a new buzz word in Solms now. Instead of camera, they call everything a "solution". The EVF sub for the R10 was a solution. Now this is a solution. Guy is a corporate mouthpiece.
Anyway this thing is not camera I would carry on a travel or even to a familc picnic. Furthermore if I were a pro, this is not a choice I would make. Definately not recommended for seedy neighborhoods either.
What was the website where I can get the nikon mounts for Leica R?
