Now, I have been really lucky with my local St Vinnies, so I suppose a reconning was due. But still...

I learned this evening that I missed a $5 camera at my local St. Vinnies. It was priced that as no-one working there knew how to make it work. But what kills me is that it was a Canon VT Deluxe... :bang: :bang: :bang: Thankfully a 50/1.8 on it, but still...

Yeah. Hurts when you miss something like that. A family member recently told me about how "someone" once had a Leica kit. . . .but it's lost somewhere in the massive collection of stuff. Somewhere in storage. Somewhere in the state of California. Or Michigan. Or Utah. Untouched for years and years . . . it is probably gone (tossed into the LA landfill) along with millions of things long forgotten as well.
